Wendy Holder, M.Ed, LPC-S, LCDC
Life can unravel when faced with severe stress, trauma, or loss, making it difficult to manage. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over a decade of experience, I am dedicated to helping people rise above their circumstances and become who they were created to be.
Through an integrative, faith-based approach, I provide a safe, nurturing space for individuals, couples, and families to find healing, hope, and restoration amidst life’s trials. Drawing from evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, stress management, and anger management, I tailor my therapeutic methods to each client’s unique needs.
My goal is to equip you with valuable coping strategies, communication skills, and healthy boundaries to overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflicts, and other mental health concerns. I have a particular passion for working with Veterans to overcome trauma, individuals to discover who they are and recover from various life situations, and couples to restore faith and love in their marriage.
In addition to my clinical work, I am available to provide supervision to recent graduates in the state of Texas. During supervision, we will address case consultation, ethics, documentation, counseling skills, and more.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards emotional well-being, personal growth, and restored wholeness, I am here to walk alongside you with understanding, courage, and faith.
Shelby Rodgers, MA, LPC
I’m passionate about helping individual adults and teens find their happiness and overcome current and past difficulties in their lives through faith-based counseling. As an eclectic therapist we will utilize multiple theories and techniques to personalize a treatment plan that caters to each client’s individual and specific needs.
Our first session will focus on building rapport. Come as yourself, leaving judgment and shame at the threshold of the therapeutic room. As we get to know each other we will start to identify key areas of difficulty and work together to come up with goals that can help you reach the best you there is.
I believe in working together to set doable goals and building a rock solid foundation that will be able to sustain you in the long run. I will be with you through the whole process and together we can get you to the best you.
